DE TOT COR

DE_TOT_COR is an industrial_alternative_industrial music project from Barcelona. It started by the end of 2004. It all started with a fun electro-dark covers of heavy metal songs and some rough remixes of :wumpscut: remix-contests. After two hundred tons of unused melodies, only three songs remain for the first DE_TOT_COR demo ("deine Augen"). Soon a song of this demo  ("strawberry Panic") acquires the attention to be included in two well-known compilations (back in 2007). This song is played in dark-clubs and dark-electro-radio-stations all around the world.

The first DE_TOT_COR official release "Dead Heart EP" is published in November 2009 by the North American label Vendetta Music. It contains six original tracks and five remixes (Statik Sky, Engelmacher, Zuh, Soman and Revolution State). The record is mastered in Dresden (Germany) by Kolja Trelle (aka Soman). Includes the club-hit "strawberry Panic".

And the story goes on... Another club-hit ("Mädchenliebe") is included in two well-known compilations again in 2010. After leaving the Vendetta Music label, DE_TOT_COR self-produces a first LP ("Gothic light" digital and CD) in October 2011. The new album is not instrumental at all. It brings the collaborations of Kari Berg (ex-Ashbury Heights), Fredrik C. (Project Rotten), Sister_, DJ Zynthexia and Jenny P. (Luzid) on vocals, and the distinctive gated synths and stomping DE_TOT_COR 4x4 beats. It also includes remixes by TrümmerFrau, Studio-X, End:theDJ and Revolution State. A full-length album under the goth concept. Harsh noise converted into electronic light. Industrial alternative music mixed with dark rock and trance. Heavy beats, milions of melodies and one acoustic guitar.

One year later DE_TOT_COR self-releases a digital EP ("Fearless"). which contains 4 new songs and remixes by Psy'Aviah, XMH and Shadow System. Last day of year 2012, DE_TOT_COR puts a free compilation of old songs online. There are the best unknown classics and remixes, rare tracks and some reworks.

We live days too fast and we type less than 140 characters to explain it. Albums are downloaded for free and deleted one hour later. Maybe once you heard about these songs, maybe you didn't realize. Now it's time to re-think the project. I am thankful to those who had been (and are!) interested in DE_TOT_COR.
