DE TOT COR

The new record DAMAGE DOOM DEATH is released today.
You can download it for free at Bandcamp and listen to it online at Spotify.
If you donate some money at Bandcamp when downloading the album, you will receive a free 4-track EP (using paypal email or send a mail to detotcorgothiclight[at]gmail.com) with dark ambient songs.
Support the music, fuck the mainstream!

Album finished. "Damage Doom Death" is mixed and mastered and it will be out in October. It has been four years of silence, but here music comes again.
The album is not made of club-hits. There are no guest-vocalists, just dark electronic music. The track order will try to make you listen to the album as a whole. However there is no concept or anything behind this. It's just dark-electro music that (hopefully) make you feel something or just spend 46 minutes well.
To create and write "Damage Doom Death" I used classic-DeTotCor virtual-synthesizers, some guitar-pedals, vocal-samples, and various audio-files. There is some distortion, but ambient minutes too.
"Damage Doom Death" will be released only digital (Bandcamp and Spotify) for free. You can download the 11 songs as .WAV (or similar) or just listen to it online. As you may know, in Bandcamp there is the possibility to donate some money. If you do so (doesn't matter how much you donate), you will receive a 4-track EP with dark-ambient songs. This ambient EP will be called "Damn Dusk Despair" (sorry for too many D's) and it won't be released anywhere.

There's a new interview online, this time for the website & radio podcast HorrorAddicts.net. You can read the complete story here (DE_TOT_COR interview) and in their Episode 87 they play the song "Distant Lights (feat. Kari Berg)" with many other things (podcast is here). The HorrorAddicts website is also giving free music giveaways, there are 10 free music codes for our Bandcamp site. Just follow the links. Thanks to all the HorrorAddicts staff!

It seems we are still alive, so here you have the announced free compilation. "In case you have deleted all the previous songs", now you can have some for free. A digital release including the best unknown classics and remixes, rare tracks and some reworks.

After releasing two EPs and a full-length album, DE_TOT_COR offers this compilation of songs for free. You can find here the best unknown classics and remixes, rare tracks and some reworks. We live days too fast and we write less than 140 characters to explain it. Albums are downloaded for free and deleted one hour later. Here’s then your second chance. Maybe once you heard these songs, maybe you didn’t realize. You can obviously delete them again. This time is forever. It’s time to re-think the project. I spent too much time and money. I am thankful to those who had been (and are!) interested in my music. Nevertheless I doubt there’s a point in making albums nowadays. It’s too expensive and hard to sell. Recording, mastering, manufacturing, promotion, etc, etc. Underground doesn’t understand about money. This is not an end. DE_TOT_COR will return with more songs and hopefully as a live project. However there will be some rest. Have fun, take care and press download. [Type 0 to download or donate some money if you can]
DE_TOT_COR - In case you have deleted all the previous songs

Digital release - Bandcamp - 21/12/2012

It's about three months since we released the EP "Fearless". We needed to sell about 50 digital copies to cover the costs of pressing some CDs. It seems that real CDs are history nowadays, and not much interesting to music lovers. "Fearless" EP will not be released as CD. I would like to thank everyone who downloaded the tracks on Bandcamp or VampireFreaks digital store. And again those who have DE_TOT_COR music in their audio players.
You know some say the world will end on the 21st of December. In case the world doesn't end that day, DE_TOT_COR will release a free compilation of songs. A digital release including the best unknown classics and remixes, rare tracks and some reworks. Stay tuned!

If you bought 'Gothic Light' album and you still haven't received an email with the new DE_TOT_COR EP "Fearless", please send an email to detotcorgothiclight [at] gmail.com (there are some addresses missing). We would like to send you for free the digital version of this new EP before the release date. Thanks!

This is just a little update to all the readers of the DE_TOT_COR site. We are working on new songs, there are three new tracks finished, and another one in process. Also two reworks of old songs have been made. The new EP will contain about 3 remixes of these new tracks. Remember you will receive it for free if you bought the last album Gothic Light. Sounds change again, so expect new things! There is not a release date set still, but late summer is more than probably. Any ideas to call this new EP?
The Remix Work page has just been updated. You'll notice I did many remixes in 2012, some are already released (Mari Chrome, Diverje), some others will be hopefully published soon (ES23, Grandchaos, Cynical Existence or Shadow System). No other remix work on the front. Time to finish the new tracks!

There are only 10 CDs left of 'Gothic Light' available to buy directly from me. Remember there are some webstores where you can find the album: DSBP Records (USA) should have it back in stock soon, POPoNAUT (Europe), and added Disconexus (WORLDWIDE shipping). Be sure to send an email (detotcorgothiclight[at]gmail.com) if you bought the album on these webstores, cause you will receive for free a new De_Tot_Cor EP sometime this year. Lastly if you prefer digital albums, just get 'Gothic Light' at Bandcamp.

Last post on this blog seemed to be the last one for this year, but there's time for another one. An important one.
As you might have noticed, this year DE_TOT_COR released a new album "Gothic Light" (CD + digital). There are about only 40 copies left now, and there will be no more, NEVER. Just get yours HERE if you want to support this music.
I would like to thank everyone who bought this album, and there will be a present for you in 2012 (not only words). We'll be releasing a new EP with new tracks, reworks and remixes. This new EP will be sent for FREE to those who bought/will buy the "Gothic Light" album (digital or CD, it doesn't matter). There is just one little problem: If you bought the album through DSBP or POPoNAUT, please send an email to detotcorgothiclight [at] gmail.com telling about this. The ones who bought/will buy directly through me, Discogs or Bandcamp, kein problem.
The new EP will be out before summer, with new music, new vocals, new remixers, new artwork, new everything... and better! 2012 will be better.
