L'estiu passat vaig veure que tenia unes quinze demos i que d'allà podia sortir un disc. Així, per què no?
La primera idea va ser contactar a tots els vocalistes que havien col·laborat anteriorment als discos de De Tot Cor i així acabar les cançons. Els últims tres o quatre mesos han estat de mesclar i masteritzar l'àlbum.
Vull donar les gràcies als que han acabat cantant al disc, als que no van poder, als nous artistes, i als que no van contestar també. Després de tants anys, potser els emails o les xarxes socials moren.
El resultat final és Bless Your Demons, un disc centrat en la idea de viure positivament amb els dimonis interiors i sentir-se lliure.
Potser dotze cançons actualment son moltes i arribar quasi a una hora de música és excessiu... Ha estat un treball dur acabar de mesclar el disc i donar un so global a totes les pistes. Eren demos bastant diferents.
Al final, trobareu un disc sense gaires singles, amb moltes intros, cants eclesiàstics, bateries electròniques, ambientació lenta, sintetitzadors, i veus que parlen de dimonis. Una mescla dels antics "Gothic light" i "Nordfosc", un àlbum lent, emocional i fosc.
No buscaré el benefici econòmic, només amb la feina que hi ha hagut darrera ja estic satisfet. Actualment pots fer cançons en 30 segons amb IA. En aquest disc hi ha més d'un any d'hores de dedicació.
Amb el pressupost que tinc, i tenint clar que De Tot Cor és un projecte musical que viu durant el temps lliure, és un disc fet amb plugins virtuals, mesclat i masteritzat a casa. He provat fer els màsters sense exportar abans el mix. Això ha significat alguns problemes tecnològics, però sembla que al final el PC se n'ha sortit. Beneeix la tecnologia.
En el futur, potser m'ajudaré de la IA per fer cançons noves. De fet, l'artwork del disc està fet amb ajuda de IA. Segurament al pròxim treball de De Tot Cor (si n'hi ha) les col·laboracions vocals s'hauran acabat. Els que seguiu el projecte, sabeu que cada nou àlbum és diferent. Last summer I saw that I had about fifteen demos and that I could make a record out of them. So why not?

I want to thank those who ended up singing on the record, those who couldn't, the new artists, and those who didn't answer as well. After so many years, maybe emails or social networks die.
The final result is Bless Your Demons, an album focused on the idea of ​​living positively with inner demons and feeling free.
Maybe twelve songs are currently too many nowadays and almost an hour of music is excessive... It's been hard work to finish mixing the album and give a global sound to all the tracks. There were quite different demos.
In the end, you will find an album without many singles, with lots of intros, church chants, electronic drums, slow atmospheres, synthesizers, and voices that speak of demons. A mixture of the old titles "Gothic light" and "Nordfosc", a slow, emotional and dark album.
I will not aim for money, only with the work that has been done in these past months I am already satisfied. Nowadays you can make songs in 30 seconds with AI. Here there is more than a year's worth of dedication.
With the budget I have, and being clear that De Tot Cor is a musical project that lives during free time, it is a record made with virtual plugins, mixed and mastered at home. I've tried making the masters without exporting the mix first. This has meant some tech issues, but it looks like the PC has pulled through in the end. Bless your technology.
In the future, I might get help from the AI ​​to make new songs. In fact, the album artwork is done with the help of AI.
