L'estiu passat vaig veure que tenia unes quinze demos i que d'allà podia sortir un disc. Així, per què no?
La primera idea va ser contactar a tots els vocalistes que havien col·laborat anteriorment als discos de De Tot Cor i així acabar les cançons. Els últims tres o quatre mesos han estat de mesclar i masteritzar l'àlbum.
Vull donar les gràcies als que han acabat cantant al disc, als que no van poder, als nous artistes, i als que no van contestar també. Després de tants anys, potser els emails o les xarxes socials moren.
El resultat final és Bless Your Demons, un disc centrat en la idea de viure positivament amb els dimonis interiors i sentir-se lliure.
Potser dotze cançons actualment son moltes i arribar quasi a una hora de música és excessiu... Ha estat un treball dur acabar de mesclar el disc i donar un so global a totes les pistes. Eren demos bastant diferents.
Al final, trobareu un disc sense gaires singles, amb moltes intros, cants eclesiàstics, bateries electròniques, ambientació lenta, sintetitzadors, i veus que parlen de dimonis. Una mescla dels antics "Gothic light" i "Nordfosc", un àlbum lent, emocional i fosc.
No buscaré el benefici econòmic, només amb la feina que hi ha hagut darrera ja estic satisfet. Actualment pots fer cançons en 30 segons amb IA. En aquest disc hi ha més d'un any d'hores de dedicació.
Amb el pressupost que tinc, i tenint clar que De Tot Cor és un projecte musical que viu durant el temps lliure, és un disc fet amb plugins virtuals, mesclat i masteritzat a casa. He provat fer els màsters sense exportar abans el mix. Això ha significat alguns problemes tecnològics, però sembla que al final el PC se n'ha sortit. Beneeix la tecnologia.
En el futur, potser m'ajudaré de la IA per fer cançons noves. De fet, l'artwork del disc està fet amb ajuda de IA. Segurament al pròxim treball de De Tot Cor (si n'hi ha) les col·laboracions vocals s'hauran acabat. Els que seguiu el projecte, sabeu que cada nou àlbum és diferent. Esperem que no torni a trigar quatre anys en veure la llum. Fins aleshores, venereu els vostres dimonis.

Last summer I saw that I had about fifteen demos and that I could make a record out of them. So why not?
The first idea was to contact all the vocalists who had previously collaborated on De Tot Cor records and thus finish the songs. The last three or four months have been mixing and mastering the album.
I want to thank those who ended up singing on the record, those who couldn't, the new artists, and those who didn't answer as well. After so many years, maybe emails or social networks die.
The final result is Bless Your Demons, an album focused on the idea of ​​living positively with inner demons and feeling free.
Maybe twelve songs are currently too many nowadays and almost an hour of music is excessive... It's been hard work to finish mixing the album and give a global sound to all the tracks. There were quite different demos.
In the end, you will find an album without many singles, with lots of intros, church chants, electronic drums, slow atmospheres, synthesizers, and voices that speak of demons. A mixture of the old titles "Gothic light" and "Nordfosc", a slow, emotional and dark album.
I will not aim for money, only with the work that has been done in these past months I am already satisfied. Nowadays you can make songs in 30 seconds with AI. Here there is more than a year's worth of dedication.
With the budget I have, and being clear that De Tot Cor is a musical project that lives during free time, it is a record made with virtual plugins, mixed and mastered at home. I've tried making the masters without exporting the mix first. This has meant some tech issues, but it looks like the PC has pulled through in the end. Bless your technology.
In the future, I might get help from the AI ​​to make new songs. In fact, the album artwork is done with the help of AI. Surely on De Tot Cor's next work (if there is one) the vocal collaborations will be over. Those of you who follow the project know that each new album is different. Let's hope it doesn't take another four years to see the light of day. Until then, bless your demons.

At the end of year 2016 I decided to stop this music project. April 2020 is time for resurrection.
I had some unfinished demos from summer 2019 in my computer. During March and April 2020 I had the time to finish them and create a new DE TOT COR album. It is nordfosc.
Due to global confinement, this album is mixed and mastered at home. Headphones and small equipment, but it is fine at this moment in time. Probably 50% will listen to it online through streaming music platforms. There will be a limited cassette edition too. Check Bandcamp or No Me'n Records label.
nordfosc means dark north in Catalan language. There are some words in Catalan and some others in English in the album. The music is somehow different from all the previous DTC albums. Nothing more, nothing less. Now there is another blank page in the computer. Maybe there will be another album finish by the end of 2020. Hope all of you reading this words are doing great.

Album finished. "Damage Doom Death" is mixed and mastered and it will be out in October. It has been four years of silence, but here music comes again.
The album is not made of club-hits. There are no guest-vocalists, just dark electronic music. The track order will try to make you listen to the album as a whole. However there is no concept or anything behind this. It's just dark-electro music that (hopefully) make you feel something or just spend 46 minutes well.
To create and write "Damage Doom Death" I used classic-DeTotCor virtual-synthesizers, some guitar-pedals, vocal-samples, and various audio-files. There is some distortion, but ambient minutes too.
"Damage Doom Death" will be released only digital (Bandcamp and Spotify) for free. You can download the 11 songs as .WAV (or similar) or just listen to it online. As you may know, in Bandcamp there is the possibility to donate some money. If you do so (doesn't matter how much you donate), you will receive a 4-track EP with dark-ambient songs. This ambient EP will be called "Damn Dusk Despair" (sorry for too many D's) and it won't be released anywhere.

The new record (probably the last DE TOT COR album) is going to be called "DAMAGE DOOM DEATH" and it will be out around October/November. It will be all home-made. No sound-engineers, no designers, no crowfunding, no payed-promotion, no pre-orders, no shit, no guest-singers, no remixers, no singles, no coloured-vinyls, no money... Just music.
The album will be released only digital through Spotify and Bandcamp (free download at .WAV quality). If there is enough demand to press some physical copies, then there will be.
In the record you will find a mix between industrial, EBM, trance, guitars, ambient, doom... dark-electro! Last months I've been uploading some work in progress in my soundcloud account.
There have been four years of silence since the release of the last EP "Fearless". This will be the best De Tot Cor album ever. Grand finale and big distortion, it's a party. And this is the record cover:

Lately I've been working with a singer and we've decided to start a new music project. Then it's time to stop DE_TOT_COR for a while. The idea is to be back some time with the original idea of this project, instrumental industrial electronic music. If you are interested in the new project, i'll post some news when they're ready.

I am thankful to those who had been (and are!) interested in my music. Nevertheless I doubt there’s a point in making albums nowadays. It’s too expensive and hard to sell. Recording, mastering, manufacturing, promotion, etc, etc. Underground doesn’t understand about money. This is not an end. DE_TOT_COR will return with more songs and hopefully as a live project. Digital release - Bandcamp - 21/12/2012

This is just a little update to all the readers of the DE_TOT_COR site. We are working on new songs, there are three new tracks finished, and another one in process. Also two reworks of old songs have been made. The new EP will contain about 3 remixes of these new tracks. Remember you will receive it for free if you bought the last album Gothic Light. Sounds change again, so expect new things! There is not a release date set still, but late summer is more than probably. Any ideas to call this new EP?
The Remix Work page has just been updated. You'll notice I did many remixes in 2012, some are already released (Mari Chrome, Diverje), some others will be hopefully published soon (ES23, Grandchaos, Cynical Existence or Shadow System). No other remix work on the front. Time to finish the new tracks!

Last post on this blog seemed to be the last one for this year, but there's time for another one. An important one.
As you might have noticed, this year DE_TOT_COR released a new album "Gothic Light" (CD + digital). There are about only 40 copies left now, and there will be no more, NEVER. Just get yours HERE if you want to support this music.
I would like to thank everyone who bought this album, and there will be a present for you in 2012 (not only words). We'll be releasing a new EP with new tracks, reworks and remixes. This new EP will be sent for FREE to those who bought/will buy the "Gothic Light" album (digital or CD, it doesn't matter). There is just one little problem: If you bought the album through DSBP or POPoNAUT, please send an email to detotcorgothiclight [at] gmail.com telling about this. The ones who bought/will buy directly through me, Discogs or Bandcamp, kein problem.
The new EP will be out before summer, with new music, new vocals, new remixers, new artwork, new everything... and better! 2012 will be better.

Musicians make albums and listeners listen to the music. DJs play tracks and journalists write news and opinions. "Gothic Light" is out for everyone who wants to listen to 16 dark-electronic songs. DE_TOT_COR is not spending money on marketing. Paying for stories, reviews, being on a magazine CD compilation, club plays... Everything costs money (a lot of money). Let's not focus on comercial media. There are a lot of people doing interesting things, and for free. I write a short list (but I'm sure there are many more): Promonetics.com, DJ Hive, The Miss Jinny Show, Electraumatisme, Cyberage Radio, Con!tro!lo, Dark Essence Radio, Ruhrschall.com, Noize Magazine, Dark Mother Media, Wnrn.org (Virginia radio, USA)... if anyone knows more, just add it on comments.
The picture attached is the cover of the next Noize Magazine, it will be out soon, featuring a DE_TOT_COR interview. They released a free-compilation a few months ago (get it here). Besides I would like to thank my friend End:theDJ for the interview I did for Vampire Freaks website.
It's been days of promotion work. Thanks to DSBP Records the album is distributed in USA and Canada, and now you also can get it from POPoNAUT webshop! This is not a comercial statement.

The new DE_TOT_COR album "Gothic Light" is officially released on the 1st of October. All of those who pre-ordered it should received the CD within the next few days. Finally the new DE_TOT_COR album "Gothic light" is finished and ready to be sent to mastering and artwork. Today I received the last remix of the tracklist. "Gothic light" will have 12 DE_TOT_COR tracks + 4 remixes. I'm more than happy I can have the four remixers I wanted, cause I love the music they make, and it's a total privilege to have their remixes on this album. First thanks go for them. Not less important are the collaborations of Kari Berg, Fredrik Croona, Jenny P., Sister_ and DJ Zynthexia on the vocals. Thanks, thanks and thanks! This is not an instrumental album at all!
It has not been an easy process. After leaving the Vendetta Music label, I decided to re-think the whole album, since the label didn't like some of the new songs. As an unsigned artist I have the freedom to include everything I want. And I won't write anything more about the music label, because this is not a sad post :-) I hope this is a new beginning for DE_TOT_COR and I'm sure you will all like the new tracks. Furthermore, X-Fusion Music Production will add the necessary elements to burn it all!
"Gothic light" will be released in October 2011 with a very limited edition (the digital release will follow by the end of 2011).

First of all I want to thank all of you who have donated money when downloading the "Mädchenliebe" free single. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! Remember you can still download the free songs (Russians: it was free!, was not necessary to upload it again...).
Anyway, this new post is to announce the new DE_TOT_COR album. It will be called "Gothic light" and it will be released before the end of this year. "Gothic light" is going to be a self-release, with a limited number of physical copies, and also available in digital format. It will include the collaborations of Kari Berg (ex-Ashbury Heights), Fredrik C. (Menschdefekt, Project Rotten), Sister_, DJ Zynthexia and Jenny P. (Luzid) on vocals; and END:theDJ, TrümmerFrau, Revolution State and Studio-X on the remixes. More information (tracklist, mastering, pre-orders...) will be published soon.
Finally I would like to thank everyone who helped on the composition of this new album. Remember you can prelisten some of the tracks in the Music section of this website (and there is one of the new tracks in 'Noize Control 1' compilation - free download).

DE_TOT_COR will be releasing "Mädchenliebe" as free digital single next June 30th.
This song has already been released in some compilations and I will probably rework the track for the new album (or it won't be included on it). Apart from "Mädchenliebe" the single will feature the Hydrocyanic remix of that track, and track #3 will be a cover (surprise).
The new album will wait some more time. As I wrote, I want to rework "Mädchenliebe" and finish the last track on it (#10). However, I just uploaded new versions of the songs in the "Music" section. Check them out.

The DE_TOT_COR contract with Vendetta Music label is terminated. I am not going to post here all the reasons. It was my decision to leave the label. I am thankful for the chance to release "Dead Heart EP" with Vendetta and I wish the best success for all the label albums. It's time for DE_TOT_COR to move forward. Thanks to all of you who still remember this music project, and keep checking this website for more news on the new album.

End of summer entered the current year. While in August seems to be dead in some-wheres and some-ones, it seems that september brings new energy. DE_TOT_COR started a new FB page with energy, and some fans made it grow. Thank YOU very much! I also started to work in some new tracks, which will be different because they'll include vocals. I don't want to write anything more right now. I can only say that I always liked to work in remixes because of the vox included in the kit, ready to use. DE_TOT_COR is an instrumental-song music project, however it's great to find different people collaborating. You can listen to the new tracks "World made of Lies" and "The Battle" in the FB page, which are done by guest-singers. Expect more!! I need to thank THEY somewhere for this and for answering some questions to complete the second DE_TOT_COR interview. So here it is. You can read it here. And now I'm at this, I need to thank Edwin from ISN Radio for always saying nice things about DE_TOT_COR. Remeber to listen to his weekly radio-show! Again and apart from that, I would like to think that all of you who bought the physical edition of "Dead Heart" EP will receive it soon. The Sagrada Familia still is under construction. And so is the new artwork for the upcoming DE_TOT_COR album. Under-construction and with new ideas. Soon I'll post them somewhere in the web. And, finally, the remix-kit of "Mädchenliebe" is no more available. I received no remixes, thus none will be published. I'm currently working on a new remix, and finished one for I:Scintilla.
