December closes the year. It's been the year of the release of "Dead Heart" and it's been the year of the composing of the new album, the first DE_TOT_COR full-length. Now it is somehow finished, but still needs some (more) guest-vocals. These will be the last things to do. Well, there's the artwork and some other things, but this is no work for me. I'm still writing new music. This music drives me nowhere. Maybe in the end I'll find a new place to stop with new songs. There are different paths, different ways. Don't want to write three million albums, and have only one released. December is cold. A time to stay within four walls. Think. Retrospectively. The best moments always win. All these moments of music. On the worst things, Myspace which has become a bag of shit. There are a lot bands that started with Myspace. Now it's only nonesense-invitations to parties three million miles away from your home and ads and more ads. The best way to close a free-platform for artists. Facebook has now the monopoly. We seem to be nothing if we don't appear there (btw, I posted new music in the DE_TOT_COR FB). Apart from these stupid online conversations, there are nice people over the web. Thanks for writing articles, reviews and interviews. Still there are some people who look beyond their shadows. This post closes the DE_TOT_COR year. As always, there is a lot of music to be heard and to be done. Waste your time, search for the best music for you. There is a new year to be made. Enjoy.
And they finally arrived... I have the final product on my hands. The first EP. Some of the first songs I wrote are inside this optical disc. More than 50 minutes of music. Six own songs, five re-works. More than clubmusic, dark-electro, noise, glitch, EBM or whatever. This CDs mean much more, and I can't write it here. There is a thanks-list inside the digipak.
I have read some very nice comments about the "Dead Heart" EP. Some people outside Catalonia start to pronounce very well "DE_TOT_COR". I don't know how many of them have been sold. I'm not doing music for money. Thanks to all of you who have bought it. The more important thing for me is that you like it. There are more songs coming. This is only the beginning. Old, but sincere. The music I like. I hope you do too. I love these songs, I love to have them together on this CD. Play it. It's here to stay forever.
End of summer entered the current year. While in August seems to be dead in some-wheres and some-ones, it seems that september brings new energy. DE_TOT_COR started a new FB page with energy, and some fans made it grow. Thank YOU very much! I also started to work in some new tracks, which will be different because they'll include vocals. I don't want to write anything more right now. I can only say that I always liked to work in remixes because of the vox included in the kit, ready to use. DE_TOT_COR is an instrumental-song music project, however it's great to find different people collaborating. You can listen to the new tracks "World made of Lies" and "The Battle" in the FB page, which are done by guest-singers. Expect more!! I need to thank THEY somewhere for this and for answering some questions to complete the second DE_TOT_COR interview. So here it is. You can read it here. And now I'm at this, I need to thank Edwin from ISN Radio for always saying nice things about DE_TOT_COR. Remeber to listen to his weekly radio-show! Again and apart from that, I would like to think that all of you who bought the physical edition of "Dead Heart" EP will receive it soon. The Sagrada Familia still is under construction. And so is the new artwork for the upcoming DE_TOT_COR album. Under-construction and with new ideas. Soon I'll post them somewhere in the web. And, finally, the remix-kit of "Mädchenliebe" is no more available. I received no remixes, thus none will be published. I'm currently working on a new remix, and finished one for I:Scintilla. One of the biggest points in this internet-thing is the interaction. I started this new page in bloggers-site because their tools can provide some kind of interaction. I will start to add here in this site elements in that direction. I don't mind how many people read this, I only want to give THE chance. We'll never be millions, but the best ones! Lately I also created a Face_Book page for DE_TOT_COR [this is the link until I learn how to shorten it :-)]. If you look under the FORUM box you'll find a first entry where you can write your opinions / feelings about the "DEAD HEART" EP. I think you have to be a FB user to do that... Of course, there is the music-player, the typical info and all that. My_space is starting to suck and going mad. Anyway, I'm still checking it. And I will be still checking some more apps to provide interaction in this official website. And yes, DE_TOT_COR is a music-project, so some music-update would be: there will be a new DE_TOT_COR remix in the new I:Scintilla album (hopefully) out this fall. I spent this last month working on it. I was a difficult song to remix, but I really enjoyed working with the melodies and the vocals. Let's see how this all ends. I won't be doing holidays, so in August I will start working on new tracks! Hope that the weather didn't damage your brain. These were the news from the hot-as-hell Barcelona.
